For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. — John 3:17

How do you view God? Is he someone who wants to find fault with you? Is he an old man who doesn’t live in the modern world and doesn’t know what it’s like? Is he too holy to deal with the problems of ordinary people, so he has left it up to us to figure everything out? No. NO. NO! God chose to come to our world and see it from the point of view of the dead. God chose to come into our world, not to punish us or it, but to save us all. Jesus is the best way to remember that God wants to save us, not put us to death. God is great, thank God! God is great because Jesus was and is God with us.

Prayer

We are grateful that you are present with those of us who are remorseful and contrite and who long for your presence, Holy and Heavenly God. We are only mortal, but you still love us. Despite our flaws, you still redeemed us. We are imperfect, but despite this, you sent Jesus as the ideal offering to redeem us. I’m grateful. I express my sincere gratitude and praise through my Savior. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
