What is your opinion on God? Is he looking for a method to convict you? Is he an out-of-touch elderly man who has no idea what life is like in the current world? Is he too holy to be bothered with the worries of lowly humans, leaving us to figure things out for ourselves? No. NO. NO! God opted to inhabit our planet and live it from the perspective of mortality. God decided to come our world to redeem it and each of us, not to condemn us or it. Jesus is a powerful reminder that God desires to redeem us rather than condemn us. Thank you, God! Thank God for Jesus, who was and continues to be God with us.

Prayer

Holy and heavenly God, thank you for living with those of us who are sorry for what we have done and want to be with you. You know that we are just human, but you still love us. You know we have flaws, but you saved us anyway. You know that we are not perfect, so you sent Jesus as the perfect sacrifice to save us. Many thanks. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
