Jesus was righteous, holy, perfect, and clean. But he turned into sin, which he hated. Why would he act that way? Because he loved us and wanted us to be what he is now, which is God’s righteous people.

Prayer

Father, you are all-powerful and loving. Thank you that Jesus’ death on the cross made me holy, or righteous in your eyes. Thank you, dear Savior, for paying such a terrible price, not only by dying on the cross but also by becoming my sin and taking away my guilt. All praise to you, dear Father, for your plan, and all glory to you, dear Jesus, for your loving sacrifice. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
