For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. — Romans 14:11

As it is in heaven, may your kingdom come and your will be done on earth. Maranatha! Jesus, come quickly! All knees will indeed budge. However, they already do so for us. We eagerly anticipate the day when everyone will submit to our King. Let’s do all we can until that time to make sure that on that Day as many people as possible bow down before Jesus with delight and not with dread.

Prayer

Father, I’m grateful that you saved me. May my eagerness for the day of Jesus’ victory move me to be your agent of reconciliation so that others are ready for that day and will welcome it with joy. Give me the ability to see the people who need Jesus today. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
