For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: — Romans 1:20

We can feel the hand of the Master everywhere. We can see it in the world’s order, beauty, and huge variety. The vastness of space with its billions of stars and the amazing world of the microscopic show that the Orderer was very creative. God has left traces of himself all over the world, so we know he has been here and won’t give up on what he has made. But will we respond to this beauty by trying to live by the ways of the Great Orderer of the universe and choosing to show his righteous character, gracious compassion, and loving justice?

Prayer

God, thank you for making everything. Thank you for how beautiful and different it is. Thank you for how the seasons change and how beautiful Spring is. But most of all, thank you for letting us, your creatures, see you. We promise to obey you out of love in response to your kindness. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
