God, I can’t wait for the day when you surprise me again. I stand on my tiptoes with the angels and look to the clouds to see my Lord and your Son come back in glory and get the welcome and respect he deserves. Even though I can’t see it yet, I praise you for that day. Until I see you on that day, please know that my heart’s desire is to serve you, even when my weaknesses keep me from doing it as well as I should. I thank and praise you from the bottom of my heart. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
