Yes, all of us are broken, flawed, and dirty. At least, that’s what we thought (cf. 1 Cor. 6:9-11). Thanks to God’s grace and the work of Jesus, we can stand before God as holy, blameless, and innocent (Col. 1:22).

Prayer

Thank you, forgiving Father and Holy God, that Jesus’ death paid for my sins and freed me from being a sinner. Thanks for giving me the power of your Holy Spirit to become more like him. Thank you for giving me grace and making me something I could never be on my own. Thank you, dear God, for saving me from my sin, buying me off from my guilt, and making me worthy to share in your glory. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
