For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. — 1 John 3:11

The first message was to love each other. The message that will last is to love each other. The most powerful message is to love each other. The hardest message is to love each other. I think of the short verse, “To live in heaven with the saints we love, that will be glory.” But to live down here with saints we know is a different story. But that’s the story our lives are meant to tell. This is the message that God wants his children to always remember. Let’s get out there and do it!

Dear Father, I promise to intentionally demonstrate my love for your children in all that I say and do. I do this in the belief that your grace will enable me to accomplish more than I could on my own. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
