We try to get a lot of different things. Only one thing is really important. If you go to your final address without the Lord, it doesn’t matter if you have a lot of money, a big house, and a lot of prestige. Even worse is waking up in the middle of your busy life to find that you are in a barren land where Christ doesn’t live and there is no life. Let’s not waste our lives, souls, and meaning on things that won’t last.

Prayer

Father, help me keep my priorities straight, my life holy, and my heart open to your will instead of being blinded by my own self-seeking. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
