Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people. — 1 Chronicles 16:8

Giving thanks means more than just being thankful to God. It also means telling other people about the good things he has done so they can know him as their Father, Redeemer, and Victorious Lord. Then others can join us in a chorus of thanksgiving from the hearts of those whom God’s love has saved.

Prayer

Holy God, All-Powerful King, bless everyone who works for you today in hard places. I’m especially thankful for all the missionaries who go to other countries to share the grace of Jesus with people who need to know you as Abba Father. Give their words power, keep their lives and families safe, and make sure their hard work pays off. Please help me understand that the best way to show gratitude is to share your grace with other people. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
