He loved us first! He offered his Son to rescue us regardless of our choosing to believe or deny his kindness. We are given the opportunity to embrace or reject the death of his Son as the sacrifice for our sins. The sole condition, as 1 John 2:1-2 underlines, is that we know that Christ died for everyone else in the world, too!

Prayer

Precious King, Almighty God, I will never fully understand why you love me and sent Jesus to die for me. We appreciate your love. Thank you for giving up your life for me. I’m glad Jesus came to save me. I say my prayers in your name and with your help. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
