Isn’t it wonderful? God hears my prayers even when I can’t say what I want to say and my heart is heavy. It’s not because I’m smart, articulate, or religious enough to pray the way I should. No, it’s because God has been kind enough to put his Spirit in our hearts to tell us what my words and mind can’t say. God hears all of my groans, longings, heartaches, and heart-cries. He knows what I can’t put into words but can only feel. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, he answers those unspoken prayers with his presence, grace, and power.

Prayer
Father, it makes me feel better to know that you know what I can’t say even when I don’t know what to say. I trust you to answer my wishes as you see fit, because I know you know what I need much better than I do. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
