This is what Old Simeon said when he saw the Christ child. This is also our goal. Even though we can’t see Jesus, who is our salvation, and hold him in our arms like Simeon did, we can still see him through the Bible, worship, ministry, evangelism, and the Holy Spirit’s work. Let’s make it our goal to honor God as the only true God and to follow Jesus as our Lord.

Prayer

Righteous Father, please help me learn more about Jesus, become more like him, and live with his character. Please, dear God, I want to have a character and act like Christ. I want to really follow my great Teacher and become more and more like him every day. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
