Sometimes it’s so hard to do the right thing. It seems so much easier to talk bad about someone who has wronged us, to pray for them in a group, or to pass around a rumor about a Christian who is having trouble. But there is only one right thing to do when another Christian has hurt us. Go talk to the person who hurt you, try to keep the damage to just the two of you, and try to make up. This is what God wants, and as his children, it should also be our goal.

Prayer

Lord God Almighty, please forgive me for being stupid and self-centered. Give me the courage to talk to those who have wronged me in a loving way, but if I can’t make things right, use the power of your Holy Spirit to help me forgive as you have forgiven me. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
