We have a lot more power than we usually think. That amazing power is working in us (cf. Ephesians 1:18-19). But this promise of power is tied to two chances God gives us every day. First, it is based on actively asking God to do great things based on a holy-charged imagination. Second, it depends on how we live to honor God. So let’s ask, imagine, and give God glory. Then let’s praise him for doing things that are much bigger than what we ask or even imagine.

Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, please forgive my simple dreams, selfish prayers, and short-sighted goals. Use the power of your Holy Spirit to wake up my heart to your will and my eyes to your plans. Please do this for your glory and praise, dear Father. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
