Now that you have stretched mind, pushed your imagination, and filled up your expectations, are you ready for some down to earth truth direct from the Marvel of heaven? God is able to accomplish considerably more than any of that. His power is at work in us to execute his magnificent will and achieve his everlasting purposes. So let us not set our expectations too high and set our goals too low. You should live for his glory and expect to see it at work in your life as a result.

I beseech you, O LORD, God of the heavens and the earth, my Abba Father and loving Shepherd, to stir up in me a desire to dream greater visions and to hope for greater things than my earthly, self-centered mind is capable of conceiving. Give me amazement and eagerness as I live for your glory. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
