God is always close to people who really want to find him. The real problem is that we lose interest in him, drift away from him, and leave his presence. So let’s look for him and accept his grace and help, knowing that he is the only one who can really save us.

Prayer

Father, I want you with everything I have. I want to learn about you through your Word, but I also want to know you and be known by you like a loving father knows his child and like a child trusts his loving father completely. Father, be my God and also real to me in ways that can’t be explained. Help me feel how close you are and know that you are there. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
