Think about how proud Jesus would be of you. He said that if we say that we believe in him in front of other people here on earth, he will speak up for us in heaven. When we say that Jesus is our Lord, we are just admitting what is true. But for Christians, it’s more than that, because at the end of time, every knee will bow and every tongue will say his name. When we say we believe in Jesus, we are looking forward to his victory, which we will also share.

Prayer

Your Son is my Lord, all-powerful God. I love him and thank him for what he did to save us. I thank him for having won over death. I’m amazed by his selflessness and his grace. Jesus is the King. I know you like the way it sounds, so I’ll say it again: Jesus is my Lord. Thank you for giving up so much because you are so great.
