Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. — John 8:12

Do you walk in the light or in the dark? Can you clearly see where you’re going, or do you find yourself stumbling? Jesus wants us to follow him with courage. The way may not always be easy, but you can be sure of where you’re going and how to get there. Most of all, you won’t ever need a night light because you’ll always have his light, the only light that gives life, even when it’s very dark.

Prayer

Shepherd, you are so kind and wonderful. Please give me a faithful heart. Even when I’m feeling the darkest and most hopeless, I want to be able to find your Light and share it with other people. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
