When he healed people on the Sabbath (Mark 3:1–7) and told the story of the Good Samaritan, Jesus taught this lesson (Luke 10:29-37). Our Lord made it clear that we were doing wrong if we didn’t help someone in need, even if we had a religious reason not to. Let’s be known as a kind people who do good things for each other. Let’s not let any reason, especially a religious one, get in the way of our wonderful and holy chances to help other people in the name of Jesus.
