Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place. — Jeremiah 7:3

We often take what we have, where we live, the friends who make our lives better, and our families, which give us a place to belong and grow, for granted. God has given us all of these things. They aren’t fair to us. They don’t belong to us. But we can definitely kill them. God wants us to live in a way that pleases him and keeps us and the people we love safe. So let’s change what we do and live for God instead of ourselves.
