Children don’t need to be taught; they need to be trained. Life is not just about intellectual lessons and information. It’s about making truth a part of how we live every day. God tells us to put our children and how we raise them at the top of our list of priorities, because they will be with us forever while most of the other things we spend time on will not.

Prayer

Help me, O Great and Holy Counselor, as I seek to understand how to best share your love and truth with my children. They should understand and love you even better than I do. Give me the discernment to make wise decisions and the tenderness to carry them out in the lives of my family. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
