We are the house of God. God is inside of us. The things we do with our bodies are a part of how we worship him. We are not only called to stay away from impurity, but also to honor God with our bodies and remember the sacrifice that bought our holiness.

Prayer

I confess to you, Father, that there are times when I forget how priceless my body is to you. I find it difficult to believe that I can glorify you with it given my advancing years and the other struggles that daily serve as a reminder that my body is a vessel of decay. Please arouse in me a greater awe and adoration for your presence in me through the power of your residing Spirit. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
