A new covenant: God willingly made a new deal with us, his creatures, sealed it with the blood of his Son Jesus, and sent the Spirit to give us the power to live the life of this new covenant. God has given us a promise of love and grace. Then, the Almighty made us worthy and able to share this covenant with other people. It makes sense that it gives life because it gives life to us and through us.

Prayer

Thank you, Holy and Majestic God, for saving me from sin and redeeming me from the law of sin and death through your grace. I’m grateful that you sent your Son and your Spirit as gifts so that I could share a covenant of life, grace, and love with you. I acknowledge my shortcomings, but I also swear to you that I will live my life in remembrance of your covenant, love, and sacrifice, believing that you will ultimately give me the strength I need to fulfill my destiny. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
