Jesus was God here on earth. He wasn’t a copy, a copycat, or a clone. He was God with us. Even now, he keeps everything going with his words. So much for “Mother Nature.” But now that our sins have been paid for, God-with-us is also God-for-us at the side of the Father.

Prayer

Dear Lord, you take these lowly human words and present them to the Father as my friend and brother, as you have done so many times before. I’m grateful that you paid the price for my sins. We are grateful for your enduring influence in our universe. We are grateful for your daily prayers. I’m grateful to the Father for having you there as God for me. Be glory, honor, and adoration to the glorious, majestic, and holy God, who sent Jesus as the Savior, forever and ever. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
