The life of Jesus changes everything. The fact that Jesus rose from the dead changes everything. The Gospel of Jesus changes lives. The Spirit that Jesus gives changes things. The message of Jesus changes everything. The work Jesus did changed things. In other words, Jesus is the key to what we do and why we do it. He is also the center, the hub, and the heart of what we do. Paul also tells us that our goal is Jesus Christ.

Prayer

Father, please forgive me. I’ll admit that in my desire to help others, I’ve sometimes forgotten that Jesus has the power to change their lives and instead relied on my own limited resources. As I try to learn more about Christ and become more like him in my daily life, please use me to bring other people to him and help them become like him. In the name of Lord Jesus Christ, which is the most important name, In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
