So many people want us to do what they say and listen to what they say. God is the only one who has always been faithful and kind, so we should respect his power. But Moses tells us that reverence is not just a “church thing.” Instead, it is a “life thing.” We must listen to and follow his rules, serve him, and depend on him in our daily lives. Instead of being quiet in the gathering, reverence is taking action to his glory!

Prayer

Holy and Righteous Father, help me take my worship outside of church and into my everyday life as I try to live what I sing, do what I say, and go after what I pray. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
