Jesus’ death on the cross and the empty tomb are not the only things that give us hope. Having hope isn’t just up to our own willpower and determination. No, God made sure that the fire of hope in our hearts would never go out. He did this by pouring his love into our hearts and filling us with his Holy Spirit. When Jesus comes back, that same Spirit will help us get up and give us life (cf. Romans 8:11).

Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, I’m so grateful that you gave me your Holy Spirit. He keeps my hope alive and makes me feel your love. May my life today and every day show that I believe in your love by being kind to others, as you are. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
