God’s faithfulness is not the most important thing in our lives. The Bible tells the story of how God has always been true to Israel and his promises. No matter what seems to be going on in our lives, we can count on him to keep his promises. When life is hard and faith is hard, the real question is whether or not we choose to love God and live for his purposes. This verse isn’t just a platitude; it’s a ring of hope for people with strong faith who choose to keep going even when there’s no good reason to. Faith is based on the fact that Jesus beat death, Satan, and sin on the third day, while we are still waiting for the dawn of our full salvation on the second day.
