“I didn’t know Jesus had a law!” Well, he doesn’t have a written one like the ones in the Old Testament (2 Corinthians 3). No, it is written on our hearts by the Spirit and changes who we are. This law frees us from written law (James 2:11–17) and emphasizes the guiding principle of Jesus’ life, which was to sacrifice and serve others (Philippians 2:5-11). This is much more than just a set of rules. It is a strong desire to be like Christ.
