Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. — Galatians 6:2

Sometimes I feel like I have so much on my own plate that I can’t even see what other people are going through. But Jesus tells me that if I want to be like him, I have to carry other people’s burdens. He became one of us to take away the hardest things we had to carry. The Lord died so that we wouldn’t have to carry the weight of sin, death, and hell. Jesus has given us a blessing by taking on our biggest problems so that we can help those around us.

Prayer

Father, your heart is full of compassion. Please help me see the burdens in the lives of those around me and then help them. I want to help people who are hurting and down, so please help me find my place and how I can serve for your glory. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
