So often, sin and living in a way that goes against God are shown as glamorous. God’s way, on the other hand, is the way of blessing. His will is for our good, his commands come from his mercy and protection, and his way is the way of life. When we walk with God and do what he wants, we are blessed.

Prayer

Father, please forgive me for believing the lies of the world and giving in to Satan’s temptations. I know that sin hurts people, makes things hard, and makes problems. I also know how hard it can be to choose the right things, stand up for the truth, and live faithfully for you. Please help my mind and heart believe that doing what you want gives me life. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
