We have nothing to ask God for! We have no right to ask God to save us. We have nothing in us that can keep us alive. God’s love is the only thing that can give us life, hope, and grace. We can only be saved by God’s mercy. Sin puts us to sleep, and only God’s gift of Christ can wake us up from that sleep.
