Natural disasters, getting old, and death can take away so many things from our lives. Satan could be called “The Thief of Always,” which is a good name for him. But God can’t be moved or stolen! We can trust him and know that he will take care of our spirits. He is a stronghold and a safe place.

Prayer

Thank you for being steady and true, O Great Rock of my Salvation. Thank you for being a source of security and hope in a world where things are always changing and getting worse. We’re glad you’re God. You are my God, and my life, my hopes, and my future all depend on you. May I bring glory to you today. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
