When was the last time you looked for God with all your heart? I’m not talking about some obscure theological idea about God or another best-selling book about God. When was the last time you tried to find God so you could learn more about him and love him more? Let’s find God by opening our hearts and going on the Great Quest. Like Luke 15’s “prodigal son,” we will find that he is waiting and watching for us to come home.

Please bless me with a deeper and more personal knowledge and experience of you in my life, dear Heavenly Father, who is majestic in glory, awesome in power, and always near with your loving presence. Please bring me closer and closer to you until I can see you face to face in heaven. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
