But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. — Genesis 6:8

This reminds me of what God said to Jesus at his baptism: “…in you I am well pleased.” Even though Noah’s culture was full of sin, God was able to find the one heart that was loyal to him and use him and his family to bless the world and give it a future. May we all be like this in our daily lives, at work, at school, and in our neighborhoods. Can you imagine how different things would be if we all decided to be Noahs?

Loving Shepherd and Holy God, please bless me as I try hard to live a life that makes you happy and makes you feel good. Please use me and the people in my church to change the world. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
