Have you ever thought about how many good friends you might have missed out on because of how you first saw them? I can’t believe that the first thing we think about someone doesn’t tell us very much about them. We won’t really know how to judge people until the Lord shows us what’s really in their hearts at the judgment. Don’t you think we should let them show us what’s in their hearts before we decide what to do with them? Let’s not just look at what’s on the surface!

Prayer

Father, only you know each person’s heart. Please teach me to be more patient with other people before I judge them. Give me eyes so I can see them the way Jesus does. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
