But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. — 2 Corinthians 3:18

“Transformed… with glory that keeps growing.” In other words, it’s a process that never ends, but with the help of the Spirit, we’ll reach our goal, which is to be like Jesus. The point is not to stop traveling. Let us remain focused on Jesus and trust that the Holy Spirit is doing God’s work in us, making us more and more like him every day.

Prayer

Father, please forgive me for the times I got too comfortable with my faith and lost sight of Jesus. Please bless me as I try to make my plans, especially my spiritual growth, with more thought. Every day, please make me more like Jesus. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
