We were chosen for a reason. We are saved from our sins and given the wonderful light of salvation so that we can help other people. You see, we are blessed to be a blessing and given light to shine on others. Most of all, we are called to point people to Almighty God, the one true light that never goes out.

Prayer

Most holy and loving Father, thank you for giving me your light to push the darkness out of my heart. Make me feel deep and holy awe at being made a priest, a part of your holy nation, and a child who belongs to you. Your kindness to save me is shown even more by the fact that you want to use me for your great plans. Thank you for saving us from our sins. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
