Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. — Jeremiah 33:3

This was first said to Jeremiah about what would happen to Jerusalem. But this promise is also true for us in unique ways. God wants to hear from us. God often waits for us to ask for what he wants to give us before he gives it to us. Still, we can’t understand and accept all the great truths about God. We can’t fully understand his grace because he is just too big and beautiful.

Father and All-Powerful God, you are amazing and hard for me to understand. Dear Father, please surprise the world by coming when no one is looking for you. I really want to learn more about you, dear Father. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
