God is at work in us to change our character and will so that they are more like his. God gives things. God loves to give us many good things. He wants us to do the same thing now. Giving isn’t just a random thing we have to do to help our churches and ministries. Instead, it’s a way for us to change and become more like God. It may be one of the clearest ways we have put our faith, trust, and priorities in what God has done.

Prayer

Father, please forgive me when I have been stingy with the wealth you have given me. Make me a channel for your good things. I know that you own everything I have. Please show me how you would use it. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
