So, here’s the good news: if we died with Christ, we’ve already died the only death that really matters. Our lives are connected to his, so when he comes back, we will share in his glory (Colossians 3:1-4). Even death can’t keep us from being with him (Romans 8:35–39), because Christ Jesus, our Lord, has given us the victory over death (1 Corinthians 15:55-57). We don’t have to worry about the second death (Revelation 2:11, 20:6, 14, 21:8) because we have already moved from death to life (John 5:24).

Prayer
Who will pull me out of this death’s body? Thanks be to God, through our Lord Jesus Christ! In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen. (Romans 7:24-25)
