As well as dying for my sins, Jesus also lives for me. It is actually he who is at the right hand of God, claiming me as his own (see 1 John 2:1-2). (See 1 John 2:1–2.) Having triumphed over death, what is he going to withhold from me now that he has saved my life?

Prayer

I give thanks to you, Holy and Righteous Father, for Jesus, who is at your right hand and who understands my heart, my problems, and my entire world. I appreciate all of your support and care throughout all of my challenges and victories. As I strive to serve you wholeheartedly and devotedly, kindly make your presence known today more clearly than ever before. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
