In a world where there are no absolutes and where people are looking for moral standards, God’s costly grace calls us to change our lives as a response to his grace. Whoever receives God’s grace but doesn’t try to do what’s right shows they are either ignorant or have a hard heart. In our day and age, to be saved means to try to do what is right. This is not so that we can earn our salvation, but so that God’s saving grace won’t go to waste in us.

Prayer
Holy Father, I admit that I live in a time that is hard to understand. Satan is always making it hard to tell the difference between good and bad, right and wrong, and moral and immoral. Because you have been so kind to me, may my life today show that I am righteous because of what Jesus did for me. “May the things I say and the things I think be pleasing to you, my Rock and my Redeemer.” In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
