Usually, when we think about God being our judge, we think about being judged. Isaiah reminds us that because God is our judge, he will judge us according to his will, his rules, and his grace. He is on our side and wants to help us, not hurt us. Using a phrase from the New Testament, when we stand in front of our Judge, we see our Father instead.

Prayer
Judge, holy and righteous, I’m happy that you hold the power over my life, my future, and my fate. Thanks to Jesus’s gift, I am aware of your love for me. Because of your enduring grace, I am aware of your desire to save me. I am aware that your Son’s sacrifice satisfied your requirement for holiness. Therefore, I humbly and willingly give God my life, my soul, and my future in eternity. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
