Why do you do the things you do? What makes you want to do more, get more, and achieve more? Paul said that love was the thing that drove him. What would happen in our lives if love was the only thing that made us want to act and do things? What if our love for those who don’t know Jesus’s saving grace made us want to love them more than anything else?

Prayer

Please be with me as I try to make love my most compelling reason for living, O God of Eternity. I want to express my love and gratitude to Jesus for everything he has done to save me. To let others know that Jesus is the Lord of my life, I want to live for him. I want to demonstrate his love through my words and actions so that others can know and truly experience it. Bless me as I work toward this objective. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
