If we get paid what we deserve, we’re not going to like our wages. On the other hand, God is full of mercy and grace, and he gives us his gift not because of what we deserve but because of what Jesus did for us. I don’t know about you, but that makes me want to serve him with even more passion and devotion!

Prayer

Holy and perfect in every way, you are a glorious and kind Father. I am grateful that your sacrificial grace bridges the big gap between your righteousness and mine. Thank you for giving me life that will never end. May my life on earth be holy and make you happy. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
