For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. — 1 John 3:11

The primary message was to show one another love. The enduring lesson is to show one another love. Love one another is the strongest message. The most challenging lesson is to love one another. The little line that reads, “To live above with saints we revere, O that would be glory,” comes to mind. To live among the saints, though, is a another matter entirely. But that’s the story that our lives are designed to tell! This is the everlasting message that God desires to be transmitted to his progeny. Let’s go live it together!

Prayer

Loving Father, I promise you that I will do and say things that show how much I care about your children. I do this because I believe that your grace will help me do more than I would be able to do on my own. I pray through Jesus, who saved me. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
