The most important question in each of our lives is simply this: Do we have something to live for that is also worth dying for? The answer from Paul is “Yes!” Christ is the solution, the reason, and the reason for hope. Now, if we can get our will and heart to match our commitment, we can say the same thing.

Prayer

Lord, please forgive me for anything I’ve done or said that has made it harder to see what Christ has done in me. I want my life to be a living testimony to Jesus and his powerful grace for as long as you let me live on this earth. I do look forward to the day, dear Father, when Christ returns victorious to bring me home to you. Until then, please put me to work for you. I’m glad that my future is tied to your Son and my Savior, no matter what comes next. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
