We have all the rights of full heirs because we are God’s children. Our baptism shows the world that we have faith and that we are God’s children. We’ve decided to put on Christ and his righteousness instead of trying to earn our way to heaven. He saves us and gives us hope. He gives us life and makes us strong. He is our big brother and the one who saves us. He rules over us.

Father, thank you for taking me into your family. How can I thank you for everything you’ve done to make me your child and a rightful heir to your glorious riches of grace? Thank you, Jesus, for giving your life so that I could join your family. In your name, Jesus, I pray and sing praise to you. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
